Thank you for your interest in joining the Department of Family Medicine. We take pride in our outstanding Faculty who offer innovative and challenging learning environments to our medical students and residents and the highest quality of care to patients. Our Faculty members are located throughout southern Ontario, working in a variety of settings from rural and community based practices to busy urban health clinics. In addition, we have three Clinical Teaching Units within Hamilton: McMaster Family Practice (MFP), Stonechurch Family Health Centre (SFHC) and the Maternity Centre of Hamilton. Together these units cover the spectrum of care in family medicine and introduce learners to an interprofessional practice environment.

• DAVID BRALEY AND NANCY GORDON CHAIR IN FAMILY MEDICINE – The Faculty of Health Sciences at McMaster University invites applications and nominations for the David Braley and Nancy Gordon Chair in Family Medicine. This Chair was generously endowed by David Braley, a prominent Hamilton-based industrialist and his wife, Nancy Gordon, a former paediatric nurse. Their donation was subsequently matched by McMaster University. This endowed Chair in Family Medicine has been established with the goal to promote the doctor-patient relationship, communication, collaboration and advocacy.
