Postgrad Report — (E.Shaw)
Drs. Shaw and Zazulak facilitated a Faculty Development session in Brampton on November 26, 2007. The purpose of this session was to orient new faculty to the program and to help them understand the basic roles and what the horizontal components of the program are about. They will return for an additional three sessions to do some formal teaching in the area of IMGs etc.
Dr. Shaw is looking to develop a series of workshops that can be taken to new communities, with adaptations for the specific communities.
Dr. Shaw, along with a group of leaders from the Department, will soon meet to finalize the new post‐graduate structure and to look at the need to re‐distribute some leadership roles. Site directors will be put into place at the distance learning sites who will report to Dr. Shaw as the main Postgraduate Program Director.

Nurse practitioners etc., are welcome. If you haven’t done this before, you will be paired with an experienced faculty member. Please contact Sandra Johnson (sjohnso@mcmaster.ca) if you wish to volunteer.
