Jon Miklea presents a report from undergrad education for October 2007
Seven groups are currently going through Clerkship. The students have done formal evaluations of the clerkship and some constructive feedback has been received. There will be a meeting on December 13, 2007 to discuss fine tuning the Clerkship experience. The group will discuss having an integrated clerkship in the distance learning sites. This would mean that students would spent eight months in a family physician’s office and would have the opportunity to follow patients through surgeries etc.
Dr. Brian Kerley has resigned as one of our distance site coordinators. He will, however, continue to act as a tutor and preceptor.
The 1st block of the MF1 match has recently wrapped up. If are you willing to volunteer your time as a preceptor for any upcoming blocks, please contact Sandra Johnson sjohnso@mcmaster.ca
