MCMASTER UNIVERSITY IDENTIFICATION NUMBER

Your McMaster ID appears in the lower left corner of your offer of appointment underneath your signature.


MAC ID

Your MAC ID is not your McMaster ID number. MAC ID is a unique, common identifier enabling single sign-on for a number of systems and applications including LibAccess, WebCT, and MacConnect. For more information please visit: http://www.mcmaster.ca/uts/macid/employeeservices.htm

Borrowing privileges and online access

Borrowing privileges can be obtained when you visit the Health Sciences Library by presenting your McMaster University ID number at the Health Sciences Library Circulation Desk.

 
Access to the online collections only

If you do not require borrowing privileges but would like access to the online collections of the McMaster University Libraries, please complete the application form found at the address below and send it to the Health Sciences Library.    http://hsl.mcmaster.ca/documents/misc/hslapp.pdf

Once completed the application should be forwarded to your department chair for authorization. Your McMaster ID number, needed on the application form, appears in the lower left corner of your offer of appointment, underneath your signature.

 

 


UNIVERSITY POLICY ON TUITION BURSARIES FOR DEPENDENTS

Clinical faculty who hold full-time or continuing part-time appointments may be eligible for this benefit providing that they have held the appointment for three continuous years and that they carry a teaching load equivalent to nine units (270 hours) of teaching per year. The appointment must be confirmed by the Dean’s office. To see the complete policy, please refer to www.workingatmcmaster.ca

 Application forms are to be returned to FHS Human Resources (HSC-2J1A) for confirmation by the Dean prior to the academic session for which a bursary is requested.

Please note:  Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) does not qualify for Tuition Bursaries for dependents.
