Special Events / Notable Opportunities and Happenings

• The Research area has received many awards this year for their research projects. A number of PHTCF projects have been completed and ongoing funding has been received from local, provincial and national funding agencies. Six department members are currently pursuing graduate level students in the Health Research Methodology (G.Agarwal, T.Karwalajtys, M.Howard, A.Barbara, I.Bayoumi,
  L.McCarthy). The recent Primary Care Medical Education Research Planning Retreat was well attended
  with 28 people attending. The purpose of this retreat was to build on the Department’s educational
  research, stimulate department research interest, explore past opportunities and take research to
  the next level.
