Special Events / Notable Opportunities and Happenings
- The Trillium Primary Care Research Forum, in collaboration with the University of Toronto,
Western and McMaster Universities, took place June 26th at the RBG. Over 55 research orals
and posters were submitted. - CIHR will be putting out a call for pilot projects The Catalyst Grant program provides seed
money, on a short‐term basis, to support health research activities which represent a first step
towards the pursuit of more comprehensive funding opportunities. If you are interested in
applying, please see Dr. Dolovich for more details. - The CHAR competition, surrounding the transition to research, is coming soon. More details
will follow. - Dr. Dolovich will be talking to Charlie Goldsmith, a statistician, regarding offering a course
on quality improvement. An e‐mail will soon be distributed to determine interest and course
suggestions. - The Research Department is wrapping up three Quality in Primary Care projects. Results will
follow in the not‐too‐distant future.
