Special Events / Notable Opportunities and Happenings

• The research group has recently made submissions for new grants. They would like to take CHAP and
  link it with the FHTs. They have also submitted a proposal to look at the Medcheck Program, which
  looks at best prescribing practices. The group was successful in receiving a grant to evaluate the Quality project.

• A planning retreat to discuss building the Department’s program in educational research will be held on
  Tuesday June 19 at the Marine Discovery Centre.
