Special Events / Notable Opportunities and Happenings

• October was conference month, with 22 presentations being done at Family Medicine Forum and eight
  posters, one workshop and two oral presentations being presented at Napcrg.

• Two new grants have been funded and one letter of intent has been submitted. If you have any information to share re: funding, publication etc., please let Deb Farquhar know (dfarquh@mcmaster.ca)
• Academic Forum is scheduled for November 29, 2007. A copy of the notice has been attached to the
  end of the newsletter.
• A poster training session has been scheduled for Friday, November 30, 2007, 12:00—1:00 in HSC 2V7.
